Latimer Hinks is well recognised as a firm working with
business and for business. Debt Recovery forms an integral
part of the service provided by the Commercial Department.
Of paramount importance is the economics of the debt recovery
process.
Our
professionally qualified and skilled Partners and staff
will assess and advise on the viability of pursuing any
particular debtor. Our objective is to progress and pursue
with determination, efficiency and speed, any debt we believe
to be worthy of collection.
Our aim is to
ensure minimum disruption for Clients in their businesses
and secure early judgement together with an award for interest
and costs.
We
tailor our services to the unique requirements of each individual
Client. We provide a choice of fee structures:
- Payment
on an hourly basis.

Payment of a fixed fee.
- Payment
of an initial ‘take on fee’ plus a percentage
of monies recovered.
We can also continue with the recovery if a defence is lodged
or if insolvency procedures are necessary to recover the
claim or if the debtor becomes insolvent.
We can represent or organize representation at creditors
meetings, usually at no cost.
Our Client list encompasses many local and national businesses,
industry and commerce – including Recruitment Consultants,
Nursing Homes, Motor Retailers, Property Companies, Accountants,
Media Companies and Manufacturers.
