Nationally-renowned commentator David Smith, Economics Editor of The Sunday Times, will reveal his take on the Chancellors fiscal policy at a Budget Live! event hosted by Tees Valley Unlimited.
Guests at Budget Live 2014! will be able to question a panel comprising Mr Smith, Tees Valley Unlimited Managing Director Stephen Catchpole, Institute of Directors North East Chairman Alastair Thomson and Anne Elliott, from Latimer Hinks Solicitors.
The Chancellor George Osbornes Budget will be broadcast live to the audience of Tees Valleys influential decision-makers and business leaders and will be followed by a Question Time- style debate.
The economic briefing is being held at Teesside Universitys Darlington Campus on Wednesday March 19 starting at 12noon.
TVU is the Local Enterprise Partnership for the five local authorities of Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland and Stockton on Tees and is charged with helping driving the local economy forward.
