Latimer Hinks, one of the North East’s leading law firms, is to end its 125th year with a charity ball in the Grand Marquee at Wynyard Hall, where its fundraising group, Hel’s Angels, will get a chance to swap sportswear for stilettos.
In 2014 we raised a staggering £16,000 for St Teresa’s Hospice, The County Durham Foundation and a multitude of smaller local charities.
In 2017 we will once again support St Teresa’s Hospice and smaller local charities in memory of our much loved friend and colleague Helen Thomas.
On July 4th 2016 Helen sadly passed away from cancer aged only 33. Helen’s final days were spent at St Teresa’s and their help and support to Helen and her family throughout her illness were invaluable. It was Helen’s wish to make St Teresa’s new Inpatient Unit the best it could be and the Latimer Hinks Charity Ball is a way for us to make this happen.
We plan a superb four course meal, entertainment by international swing singer Cole Page, table entertainment by magician David Penn, casino and dancing. Wynyard have promised us an exceptional evening!
Anne Elliott, Chief Executive of Latimer Hinks, said: “St Teresa’s Hospice is a fantastic local charity. It gave Helen and her family vital support during her illness, for which I know they were very grateful. It is for that reason that we decided to support the Hospice as well as other local charities in this our 125th anniversary year.
A small number of tables and sponsorship opportunities are available for the Latimer Hinks Charity Ball. For more information, contact: email@example.com or call Andrea Tobin on 01325 341507. Tickets are £65 each or £650 for a table of 10.
