TRUSTS
A trust is a
formal transfer of money or property, usually to two or
three other people, who are called Trustees, so that they
can hold the money or property for other people’s
benefit.
Trusts can potentially
operate for very many years and can be tailored to suit
any situation. They are usually created to deal with issues
of taxation or family matters.
If you want to
reduce your family’s total tax liability, protect
your family against future financial difficulties, or provide
for the care of incapacitated or handicapped people, forming
a trust may well provide the ideal solution.
There
is a common perception that trusts are only for wealthy
people. This is a false perception as the cost of setting
up and administering a trust need not be prohibitive. Latimer
Hinks can provide expert advice on how trusts can help you,
as well as making any necessary arrangements.
