Having initially worked at Latimer Hinks as a secretary, Laura completed her legal training at Latimer Hinks and qualified as a solicitor into the commercial property team in 2018.

Areas of practice:

Laura advises on a broad range of commercial property matters including disposals, acquisitions, leasing, secured lending and working alongside corporate lawyers dealing with the property aspects of corporate transactions.

She enjoys dealing with the first registration at the Land Registry of complicated unregistered titles and regularly assists the Farms and Estates Team with property management work relating to landed estates.

Laura also deals with residential property transactions for her particular client base.  She is accredited under the Conveyancing Quality Scheme.

She is adept at legal research to identify the best option when complex and unusual issues arise in any commercial property transaction.

Laura prides herself on her friendly and calm approach to matters. She endeavours to guide her clients through a transaction in a way that make the process as smooth as possible.

  • Purchase of a farm for £2 million and dealing with the secured lending over the farm and another farm owned by the purchaser
  • Acting for a beneficiary in the transfer and re-mortgaging of existing agricultural property following the death of the late property owner
  • Claim for adverse possession of land
  • Sale of part of an agricultural holding subject to mortgage
  • Corporate support dealing with the property aspects of a share purchase
